Growing in learning and life requires courage and the ability to take risks. Students are encouraged to set themselves high standards and to be strong and resilient in their endeavour to realise their potential. To assist in this process Mary MacKillop College offers students a variety of opportunities to assume added responsibility through leadership roles. By having the opportunity to participate in some decision-making in the school, students will:

• develop a greater sense of responsibility,
• identify more closely with their school,
• contribute to the overall effectiveness of the school through better communication between students, staff and Administration.
