QCS TEST
This is a state wide test that must be undertaken by all OP eligible Year 12 students. It is used to compare groups of students across areas of learning and schools.
Non-OP students also benefit from undertaking the test as a score above an E on a scale of A to E will enhance their Selection Rank used for University and TAFE Diploma access. All students, at Mary MacKillop College, are eligible to sit the QCS Test.
The College works strategically in the QCS preparation program. In preparation for this test Year 12 students develop their QCS Test skills by undertaking practice tests which are marked and returned to students with detailed feedback. In addition to the practice tests students are taught to develop strategies for undertaking a range of test question types as part of the College's Personal Development Programme.
Students throughout the duration of their study at the College are exposed to all of the Common Curriculum Elements tested in the QCS Test. All units of work in the Junior Curriuclum target specific CCEs.
