ENROLMENTS
Mary MacKillop College aims to provide the environment, the resources and the freedom for each student to grow towards her full potential in all aspects of her life, whether intellectual, physical, social or spiritual. It aims to help prepare young women to take their places in the world proudly and confidently and to make them aware of all the options the world offers to them and the gifts they bring to the world. As such it is an expectation that parents seeking to enrol their daughter at Mary MacKillop College will give their full support to this mission. While the majority of students belong to the Catholic tradition, members of other faiths are also welcome and accepted into our community.
ENROLMENT APPLICATIONS
Applications for enrolment for Year 8 and Year 7 from 2015 are accepted when the students are in Primary School. All applicants are invited to attend an Enrolment Evening when they are in Year 5 and places are finalised by March 17 in the year prior to entry. Students seeking enrolment in other year levels may apply at any time.
At each Enrolment Evening the following information will be discussed:
School ethos
Curriculum
Transport
Uniform
Support structures

An enrolment form will be distributed on the evening, if you haven't already submitted one and the following documentation is to be returned with the completed enrolment form together with a non refundable $100 Application Fee.

ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
The enrolment process for Year 8 begins while the student is in Year 6 and consists of the following steps:
Enrolment Evenings are held a couple of times each year. Families looking for an individual interview with the Principal can arrange a suitable time during this evening.
March: Successful applicants notified during this month in the year prior to entry.
October: Orientation Day for new students.
October: Uniform order days.
January: On the morning of the first day all new students and their parents attend with House Contacts and Student Leaders for an assembly and morning tea. After morning tea the rest of the College community arrives to share in the orientation process.
Mary MacKillop College is open to applications from families across the full range of ethnic and faith backgrounds. The only common requirement is that applicants are willing to honour and find truth in our Catholic culture and expressions of beliefs.
