Ready, Set, PREP
CCC offers a wonderful program that assists Kindergarten children and their families with the transition to Prep at CCC.
Children enrolled at the CCC Early Learning Centre (ELC) have the opportunity to participate in weekly specialist lessons facilitated by College staff, as well as access to the College Library. In addition to the specialist lessons, CCC ELC children also attend College Chapel and have regular visits from the College Prep teachers throughout Term 4.
There are also opportunities for children enrolled at external child care centres to familiarise themselves with the College, including transition mornings, Prep Focus Tours and College events.

Ready, Set, Prep | Held annually in Term 4
As Prep is a foundation year level, we endeavour to make the transition into 'big school' as smooth as possible. Ready, Set, Prep is a transition program that aims to prepare Kindergarten-aged children for their first year of schooling at Cooloola Christian College. It assists future students and parents with the transition from an Early Learning Centre environment to formal schooling.
The program runs from the beginning of October. We launch the program with a Teddy Bears Picnic, followed by a variety of events that include a Parent Information Morning, a Prep Transition Morning and a Meet your Teacher Event. All events are held at the College. These events give children an opportunity to engage in a variety of fun activities prior to the commencement of Prep, giving them a sense of belonging and preparedness. All information relating to our Ready, Set, Prep Program is emailed to families by our College Enrolments Officer.
